Hey! Didn't think you'd make it, to be honest. Ya seem like the kind of guy who only comes out of his house for class and meals and stuff.

[Maria pauses, then frantically waves away her previous statement.]

Not like in a bad way or anythin'! Just, uh, I worry about you, y'know? You could use some you time, which is I guess why we're here, huh? Any place you wanna go first? Maybe shopping?

[ He slows his pace a little so Maria can keep up with him easier, but not enough to have them walking side by side. The relief he feels when they enter the mall across the street is palpable. -and a quick glance around shows there isn't anything like a lingere store or tacky hobby shop close by. ]
