[Truth be told, he's running out of excuses to constantly be at Senate meetings. Still, this was easier than coming up with excuses to be on Naboo or Coruscant without any "official" Jedi business. He had met up with Threepio earlier and easily gotten him to spill his wife's current location. Right now, she's between meetings and apparently all by her lonesome. So, when he enters her quarters, it's with a bit of an uncharacteristic smile on his face.

Until he sees him.
