Futaba looks over a stack of notebooks seriously, going back and forth between the options. One is rather plain, while another has a popular character on it.]

Hm... hmm! You know about school stuff, right? Which one? Which one would a high school student have?!

[ They don't really hang out-- not alone at least. Akira or Ann are usually present, the former moreso though the latter also.. moreso? At least recently ]

[ She gazes over the row of stationary, eyes lingering just a little too long on the cute mascots. ]

Any of these would do, I'm not very particular about this sort of thing myself but-- I guess most girls pick something that they feel expresses their personality best?

[She grabs a black notebook and puts it in front of her face, hiding behind it. Then she pops out, like a jump scare in a horror movie except it's just Futaba.]

[And she puts it back down, looking to Makoto once again.]

I'm not really picky I guess? [ a familiar and long since out of style black and white mascot sits in her mind, but she doesn't dare mention him. ]
